Meet The Head Trainer

Hello, I am Tivius Guthrie(Coach T). I am the founder and head development coach here at Prov12ion. I graduated from MLK High School in Lithonia, Ga. I was blessed with the opportunity to further my education and basketball career at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia where I started as the teams PG. When I finished my college career I knew working with young athletes was a passion of mine. Little did I know, I would enjoy it much more than I ever imagined. I started out working with a great training company for 3 years and eventually my vision for player development outgrew the space that I was in. With that being said, I took a leap of faith and started my own program. Here we are 6 years later and I have worked with tons of talented athletes and have even seen several players from the program further their basketball careers and education at the collegiate level. I have always had a heart for ministry and realized that the leap of faith I took 6 years ago has allowed my purpose and my passion to finally align.
